Oronde Water for Spirit Waves of thought upon the shores of truth changing the shape of meaning. This liquid state of reality splashes upon the rock of my fortitude. And I am transformed by choices directing purpose. Rivers of time are rushing past me from the ancient to perpetual now And streams of consciousness are connected by a watercourse of decisions Each droplet of possibility follows a path. I choose a baptism which covers me in profound love drowning out my sorrow. And I am born by blood and water into a world without form or substance It is from this cup I will drink cool and clear redemption. Oceans touch the endless part of me on a spiritual horizon And a well runs deep within me to the very center of my identity; Where hope springs eternal and joy overflows. I am judged by Noah’s rain washing away my doubt. Led by Moses through a divided Sea to a desert to be refined And I will never thirst because I have drunk the living waters of Jesus. Oronde |

Mirrors
Walk through the looking glass and see infinite reflections Of self replicating ideas shimmering with aspects of our being; It duplicates in our art words and accomplishments. Perception leaves an impression of the world around us. The world around us leaves an impression on our perception. Actions have an equal and opposite reaction. And we become the counterpart of our choices. Simulations of me find their place in your id and personifications of you find their place in my ego. Our humanity shares a commonality. Some will conceive by flesh copies of their strengths and weaknesses Others will conceive by spirit echoes of existence. Each will hold to illusions of immortal reproduction. We are a reflector of everything that has impressed itself on us. A mirror which faces a mirror of thoughts and ideas born from our souls and embodied by our deeds Oronde |
