The Wages of Life

I'm standing here contemplating life and it's philosophies

From the essence to the hypocrisies

Plato to Socrates

Corruption in societies

Everything around me is a monopoly

It's like a class warfare

When the rich got nuff shots to spare

A mental force field you can't see but it's there

Institute currency as nothing more then a way to control

Power's with the rich only the rich will strive

While the sheep will be working for life to survive

From the time you arrive on Earth until the time your deceased

Evil monotheistic aristocrats use capitalism to mark you like a beast

Institute mental slavery to cause a manic depression

And when you fight back by the rules they bring a recession

Got me all stressing

Watching the time like it was tangible

Only a fool would think it's manageable

Extreme confrontation makes U think from the left

Or u think from the right.

Using categories to make you blind from the light

The truth of life is found through the middle

Life is nothing more than a riddle

Is it a violin or a fiddle?

A jigsaw puzzle with a missing piece

The price of living is on the increase

While the wages of work remains still and seems to cease

Branded like a cattle with the mark of the beast

Marcus Garvey said look for the coming of a King from the East

The conquering Lion of Judah to bring peace

The plight of man is an illusion of the mind

When our reality is a mere porthole in time

You are the fool of success for nor cause, nor reason can stop nor change the season

Man has disrespected nature with treason

From birth to conception

From death to resurrection

There's a fine line between control and protection

That Babylon crosses every day for their treasury collection

They control your body through circumstance and fornication

Rebellion is crushed through swift eradication

And those who don't oppose get a 2 week vacation

All the white blinding the body and the mind from it's immediate relation

Is it impossible for free thought? well at least spiritual thought processification

Your soul through your mind, your mind through your soul

Don't let your eyes deceive you with riches of gold

For your soul is Eternal

And your body can be bought, used and sold

Read between the lines and search deep with in your mind you'll find the true wealth of life is there to behold BEHOLD.

Beautiful and behold

Behold

Be uniform and be whole

Behold

Ask Me What I’m Fighting For?

by

Soul-R ©2005

As I sit at a table prepereth for I by thine enemies

As I sit amongst those close to me as those closest to me

They say keep your friends close and your enemies closer

To love your enemies is to keep them closer

Thus victory over war and you will have closure

Many have talked of revolution and many leaders have dishonored the solution

They questioned my motives as though they were personal based on my mentality

Instead of asking the question “Where was my anger stemming from in this bullshit society?”

As they laughed at my heedings of revolution

And mused that their was no shituation except my lack of conformity

And they asked me what I’m fighting for…

As recall the 60’s to the seventies

They were many revolutionaries

Who fought and are now only fighting in our memories

With their names as armor

Tis not the seventies no more

Now it is the new millennium

And nothing has really changed

Some things have but the essence of our fight still remains the same

Ask me what I’m fighting for…

I’m fighting for the same thing Peter Tosh was strumming for

Strumming the universal sound of sufferation resonating, reverberating

The sound of freedom everlasting

Spiritual eyes (highs) see it like 40 days of fasting

So ask me what I’m fighting for…

I’m fighting for freedom

Free of an oppressive system designed to keep people ketching up to new innovations

Like colonial governors imposing their colonist laws that begat the colonialist jobs that we are working and trying to progress in

But as time moves forward we are only regressing

As we keep starting over at the same jobs never ending

Cause just when you think you reached the top of their ladder they bring in a new beginning.

A Brand new system so that it would take generations for us to learn their new system just so we can thrive

Rather than simply survive

And we buy into it like we are buying into the latest technology

That basically does that of that it was replacing

The crisis we are facing is a brand new second hand

Hand, on second thought

Let me remove myself from this madness so how will the revolution be fought

So you ask me what I’m fighting for…

The same thing that you’re praying for

The revolution will be fought with brimstone and fire

On the battlefield you will find the return of the messiah

The one they pray will take us hire

It’s through earthly heights we aspire

Ask me what I’m fighting for…

What was civil rights dying for

Who was wrong and who was right

Who tried to part the black and the white

The same fight they used to bring in apartheid

But No man can part the tide

Except he who was prophesied

He who be stilleth is she who flows

He who knows

We don’t need no more heroes

We need a heroine

A hero to win

An abundance of great sheroes

Infinite like zeroes

In Binary codes

In the absence of one there appears to be zero

Birthed into existence through illusion

Like when Nero burned down Rome and blamed it on his enemies

History repeats itself 365 daylies

Ask me what I’m fighting for…

I keep fighting for peace and it seems

I’m doing the opposite of peace by fighting peace in order to get some piece

Fighting, fighting all the while I’m missing the peace

So who holds the missing piece

Cause now that I’ve found peace

I have to keep fighting to hold the peace

I’m fighting you, but I’m really fighting myself

Hating you, whilst I’m hating myself

NOW I see to love you is to love myself

As a sit at a table prepereth for I by thine enemies

As sit amongst those close to me as those closest to me

They say keep your friends close and your enemies’ closer

To love your enemies is to keep them closer

Thus victory over war and you will have closure

So before you ask me what I’m fighting for…

Ask your self the question Is your life worth dying for

Ask your self is your life worth dying for

Ask your self is your life worth dying 4
